Weddings

Choosing a photographer for your wedding couldn't be harder in this day an age, there are many good photographers out there but hopefully my work has caught your eye and brought you this far. Ever since I did my first wedding as a second shooter, I literally feel in love with it, I couldn't get enough, I was like a kid, just wanting to get them timeless shots of couples enjoying their moment, of people laughing, crying with happy emotions, I love making people relive those memories through my photos, when they look back at the wedding day and relive it through the story telling of the images that I created.... Thats job satisfaction for me, and that's what keeps me hungry and passionate about wedding photography, the fact that every wedding is completely different and unique in its own way gives me complete excitement every morning I wake up knowing I'm shooting another amazing wedding day for a new couple.

How I like to do things.....

An informal chat maybe over the phone or by email, Then we can arrange a time and date for you both to come into the studio and meet. I like to get to know my clients and a little bit about yourselves always goes down well over a nice cup of coffee, it also gives you both the chance to get to know me a little more and also gives you the opportunity to take a closer look at my work, I have plenty of Photo albums and portraits for you to take a look at.

No Pressure.....

I will never try and sell myself in a way that may feel pushy or overwhelming, Choosing someone for your wedding day is huge and you need to get it right, so if you feel we connect then great, but if its just not right then no problem, we still had a nice chat and got to know each other.

Getting the ball rolling.....

Great news, you've chosen me to be the photographer for your wedding day. All I ask for is a deposit of £250 to be paid in order to book me for that date and to turn down any future enquiries for that particular day.

Engagement shoot.....

There are two types of engagement shoots that I am able to offer, one is the more laid back approach where we wind up usually somewhere the couple love to go on a nice walk or where they had the first date/picnic etc, we'll meet up there and have a very casual meet where I just walk around the place with you and get some great pictures of you both just having some fun. The other is a studio shoot, where we can get a little more creative and get some lovely couple portraits, its also a little more private, and you guys can just relax in front of the camera and have some fun. These shoots are a great way of you both getting used to having me around and taking some natural shots of you, some people like to use the photos for their wedding ideas, invites an so on...

Final pre wedding meet.....

This is where we meet up and go through your final plans in a little more detail, I like to know exactly what's happening and when its going to happen, I don't want to miss a trick... The meeting can take place here in the studio or at your place, its up to you. As I've said many times, I like to take a documentary style to the wedding day but I also understand that there is sometimes a 'list' of (must get photos) Mum and dad might want some posed photos of nan and grandad or uncle bill and aunt..... you get the idea, I'm not going to say no to any of these things, in fact I'm happy to do this. Actually this is the perfect time to plan these things, it may only be 10 minutes out of the day and yet you keep all of the family happy.

The wedding day.....

on your big day I will be there at what ever time you want, as soon as you are up and getting ready is where it all begins, I don't want to miss a thing, I'll spend my morning getting photos of the Bride to be and her bridal party, I should also tell you that I offer a second photographer, he usually goes and spends the morning with the Groom and his party making sure none of his nerves go un missed. For the rest of the day I will hope to be as inconspicuous as possible, losing myself in the day and just capturing them priceless moments your day will naturally bring. Ive also said there is no time limit to a wedding, I'm there from the start to the finish, (Until its too dangerous on the dance floor)

The service doesn't stop there.....

Usually around four weeks after the wedding day is when your wedding photos will be ready for you, I usually ask my clients to come in to the studio and see them on the big screen for the first time (box of tissues on the table) I will have them on a usb stick ready for you to take with you and also have them on my online gallery for you to instantly share with you family and friends.

What else I have to offer.....

Probably the biggest achievement for me is for you to have a print of one if not more of your wedding photos on your wall at home, I don't think photographers push this enough, and this is the only thing I will urge you to have, It doesn't have to be from me, it can be printed out from a shop and put in a frame you got from the hardware store, just as long as you get a wonderful memory every time you glance across the room, knowing that will give me a huge sense of achievement.  (job done)
